Vegas would then use your Nvidia card for graphics processing & your intel chip for hardware rendering. Under the Magix AVC encoding option do you see Intel QSV option? Vp16 is the most buggy release in vegas history & update2 succeeded in making more people's software unstable to the point of being unusable which is a novel approach. is there ANY possible solution to this? While rendering on CPU the render time is more than two times longer than on GPU I have Intel Core i7 4790, 32GB ram and GeForce GTX 980Ti, also my project space is on SSD drive. I am very disappointed by this because I would have stayed on Vegas 14 if it wasn't for GPU rendering. Anytime i try to render with Nvidia NVENC method - the render process ends up freezing and if not - the output will have errors like white or black flashes and frames. I have just upgraded to Vegas 16 and the only reason I did that was because there were promisses of working and fuctional GPU accelerated rendering.
